1. The First Time We Touched It
When we first saw eucalyptus fabric, it looked smooth with a little natural shine.
Not too shiny like satin — just a soft glow.
But the real surprise came when we picked it up. It moved easily, like air between the fingers.
It felt soft, but not weak. Light, but not see-through.
It was the first fabric we tried that held its shape without needing too much work.
2. What It’s Made Of (And What Matters More)
Eucalyptus fabric is made from eucalyptus tree pulp. It’s processed into a fiber using less water and fewer chemicals.
It’s breathable, eco-friendly, and breaks down naturally over time.
But more important to us:
-
It doesn’t stick to the body
-
It doesn’t crease badly
-
It fits smoothly over curves without feeling stiff
Some natural fabrics stretch too much or feel flat. This one stays right in the middle — soft, but steady.
3. It Holds Shape Without Feeling Heavy
Many of our clothes are shaped to follow the body — smooth curves, angled cuts, and clean lines.
Most fabrics need extra lining or thick panels to do that.
But eucalyptus works differently.
When we layer or stitch it, it naturally holds form.
When left unlined, it still falls nicely — no stiffness, no sagging.
That’s why we love it for warm weather. It keeps structure without adding weight.
4. What It Feels Like to Wear
It’s light, breathable, and smooth on the skin.
You don’t feel hot or sweaty in it. You don’t feel tight or restricted.
Most people say it feels like wearing nothing — and that’s a compliment.
We’ve heard words like “soft,” “floaty,” and “barely there.” That’s the kind of comfort we aim for.
5. How We Use It in Our Designs
In Collection 1, we used eucalyptus fabric for both the Arch Top and the Petal Skirt.
In the top, it helps shape the shoulder and hem just right.
In the skirt, it holds pleats that slowly relax as you move through the day — which is part of the design.
We’ll keep using it — maybe with inner contrast stitching or mixed with other soft materials.
It’s one of those fabrics that works well and feels good. And that matters to us.
